MEZ is stressed to provide uniform pressure over the whole length of the flange ensuring a tight mechanical fit. It is also injected with a permanent elastic sealant, saving installers the time and effort of doing it themselves. The tightness has been proven by institutes in Germany and the U.K, MEZ is approved for tightness classe A,B,C, and D.
