HUIA APARTMENTS REFURBISH | Duct sealing with Aeroseal The most recent job performed by LIMS Aeroseal was at the Huia residence on the corner of Grafton and Park Road right next to the Auckland Hospital. This was a refurbishment of student accommodation and McAlpine engaged us to once again improve the air tightness of their duct work. McAlpine have used us twice before on two different buildings on Financial Street, and we got great results. And on one of the rises we had to deal with a flat lining plateaued air loss of 40 liters per second at 750 pascals. Eventually we found that there were several hoses coming off the back of the duct work on each different floor, and once we discovered that, that allowed us to fix the problem even further.
